Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Servings: 10 Lettuce Wraps

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil.
  • 3 ea garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger, freshly grated
  • 3 ea scallions, sliced thin
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 1lb Omnivore Beef
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 head butter lettuce leaves, washed & dried
  •  1 ea red bell pepper, julienne cut
  • 1 carrot, julienne cut
  • 1/2 ea cucumber, julienne cut
  • 1 bunch cilantro, rough chop
  • 3 ea limes, quartered
  • 1/4 peanuts, chopped

Step 1

Heat a large saute pan on low-medium heat and add sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and onions and cook until onions become translucent but not browned.

Step 2

Move the sauteed vegetables to one side of the pan and crank the heat up. Place you 1lb of Omnivore Beef in the pan, break it down into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon, and saute until browned.

Step 3

While the Omnivore Beef is browning in the pan, prepare your sliced carrot, cucumber, and red bell pepper, lettuce leaves, cilantro, and limes. Place all of these toppings on a plate to serve from.

Step 4

When your Omnivore Beef is evenly browned, add the fish sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sambal, and sweet chili sauce.

Step 5

Transfer your Thai Omnivore Beef filling to a serving bowl and serve alongside the fresh wraps and toppings!
